Case: 39939 Category: Nose Job (Rhinoplasty) Age: 34 Gender: Female Skin Tone: Fair Description: This young woman presented with difficulty breathing as well as dissatisfaction with the outward appearance of her nose. Her preoperative evaluation revealed a deviated septum, poor tip support with collapse of the nasal valve region,a bony hump, and other outward asymmetries. Following septorhinoplasty her breathing has been restored, and the outward appearance of the nose has a natural, unoperated appearance. The tip has been lifted, the hump removed, and wide asymmetric nasal bones have been narrowed and straightened. |

Details: Dr. Michael Fozo performed a septorhinoplasty which restored this patient's breathing while improving the outward appearance of this woman's nose. Notice how the wide nasal bones have been repositioned to give the nose a smoother, more refined look.

Details: The inferior half of this patient's nose was underprojected, which accentuated the bony hump seen on oblique and profile views. Lifting the tip and rotating it slightly, in addition to removing the bony hump, creates a natural elegant transition from the eyebrows to the tip of the nose.
