Dr. Michael Fozo specializing in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Michael S. Fozo serves as Director of Lakeshore Facial Plastic Surgery and the newly opened Aesthetic Center.  Dr. Fozo is a double board certified surgeon specializing in facial plastic, cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.  He is  certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and The American Board of Otolaryngology. 

A Michigan native, he received his Bachelor of Science Degree at Tufts University in Massachusetts. He went on to become President of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society at New York Medical College, where he graduated with honors including the Coret Manus award and the William Cullen Bryant Award for outstanding service to the community and distinguished academic record.

Dr. Fozo completed his training at the prestigious New York Eye and Ear Infirmary in downtown Manhattan. At the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary Dr. Fozo was elected Chief Resident, and graduated with accolades including the Swift Hanley Award for medical research, the Teaching Award, and The Turner Award for excellence in all aspects of the Program.

Dr. Fozo is currently on staff at St. John, Henry Ford, and Beaumont hospitals, and serve as Section Chief at Beaumont Grosse Pointe.

He is also a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and has published in the Archives of Facial Plastic surgery, and the Plastic Surgery section of the EMedicine online textbook of Medicine.
